DIFFER PMT Meeting, Durban, February 2013

The DIFFER consortium gathered in Durban, South Africa, from the 19th to the 21st of February, on the occasion of the yearly Project Management Team (PMT) meeting. Representatives of all partner organizations and members of the Scientific Advisory Board attended the event. The prime objective of the meeting was to share results obtained during the first 18 months of the project and to plan the next phase of activities.

The DIFFER consortium gathered in Durban, South Africa, from the 19th to the 21st of February, on the occasion of the yearly Project Management Team (PMT) meeting. Representatives of all partner organizations and members of the Scientific Advisory Board attended the event. The prime objective of the meeting was to share results obtained during the first 18 months of the project and to plan the next phase of activities.Presentations were made by the partners about their findings on the current situation at their sites. Roundtables and group works were then organized to allow partners to discuss the planning of the interventions, taking into account the specificities of each site. A session was dedicated to communication and administrative issues. Besides the daily sessions, partners were given the opportunity to visit peer educators working with female sex workers (FSW) and a family planning clinic in Durban.
