Work Packages

The implementation of the project was divided into 10 work packages, each led by one of the consortium partners and addressing a particular phase of the research framework. Two work packages addressed the first phases of the research, analysing the existing situation and gathering pre-existing knowledge (‘understanding’), three work packages addressed the phases of empirical decision taking and the translation of the decision into action (‘implementing’), and two work packages addressed the phases of operational and analytical evaluation (‘evaluating’). Two work packages ensured that the research findings were broadly disseminated and translated into policies, and one work package covered the overall coordination of the project.
